Get in cardio and meet new people over a friendly game of padel. Claim a seat in a weekly Crew or a one-off match, pay your share, and show up.
Most weekly padel games in Lisbon run on a WhatsApp group. One person books the court on Playtomic, fronts the whole €40, then chases three people for their share. Someone drops out in the afternoon, the group scrambles for a fourth, and you find out an hour before that the game is off. Finding a regular game that fits your week, with people at your level, mostly comes down to luck. And if you just moved here, you're not in any of those groups yet.
PadelSeat is a padel app where the court is already booked. You claim a seat in a weekly Crew or a single match and pay only your share. The match confirms the day before, so you know in good time whether you're playing.
The Board lists every open seat sorted by distance from your neighborhood, with walk and transit minutes on each card.
The court price is split four ways. Your saved card is charged only when the match confirms, or the share comes off a prepaid balance.
Release before the deadline and you're not charged.
A match confirms at the deadline once at least three seats are held and the court is booked. You get a calendar invite, directions, a reminder the night before, and a weather forecast line for outdoor courts, so you never find out at the club that the game is off.
Release your seat and it goes straight to the Board at the price you paid; when someone claims it, you're refunded. A last-minute release becomes a free Gifted Seat, so the other three still play.
It's after the deadline. Your seat goes on the Board at €11.50. When someone claims it you get €11.08 back (€11.50 minus €0.42 card cost).
Twelve quick questions at signup place you in one of four bands, from new to padel to confident social play, and every Crew shows its skill level, so you're not the beginner among club players, or the reverse.
You can change this later in your profile.
See seats at my levelJoin a weekly Crew and you hold a seat in every match by default; release the ones you can't make. No slot near you yet? Drop a Wanted Here pin with your days and area and we'll open one when enough people ask.
Your seat is listed on the Board at the price you paid. If someone claims it, you're refunded that share minus the card processing cost, shown in cents before you confirm. Release inside two hours of play and your share is forfeit; the seat becomes a free Gifted Seat so the other three still play.
Nothing to join and no subscription. You pay your share of the court, the price divided by four, plus a small app fee shown on the seat card before you claim.
A match needs four. With fewer than three seats held at the deadline it cancels and nobody is charged. If the fourth seat is still open 45 minutes before play, the match cancels and every paid seat is refunded in full.
Yes. First-timers get a shorter signup and land in the "New to padel" band, and Padel 101 in the app covers rules, gear, and what to expect at your first match. Crews show their skill level so you can pick one that fits.
Cards are stored and charged by Stripe; PadelSeat never sees your card number. A prepaid balance only spends on PadelSeat matches and returns to your card any time, with no fee.
